The Challenge

Twice a year, ECCO Leather Goods renews its collection for the Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter seasons. To effectively present the new features to their employees, they required engaging and informative eLearning courses.

The main requirements for the eLearning included:

  • Vibrant, colorful Design. The course needed to have an eye-catching and visually appealing design that reflects the brand's dynamic nature.
  • Mobile accessibility. The content had to be easily accessible on mobile devices to ensure that employees could learn on the go.
  • Incorporation of product videos. Including high-quality product videos was essential to showcase the new collection features effectively.
  • Sales rituals integration. The course needed to highlight key sales points to equip employees with the knowledge to effectively market the new products.
  • Knowledge Checks. To ensure comprehension and retention, the course had to include short quizzes focused on the sales points.
  • Multilingual support. The eLearning module needed to be translated into 29 languages, with videos featuring translated subtitles to cater to a global audience.

The project faced the constant challenge of tight deadlines due to the seasonal collection launches. Topics covered in the eLearning courses included collection families, leather types, and sales strategies.

Our Solution

To meet the requirements, we developed dynamic and engaging eLearning courses tailored for each seasonal collection launch. Our solution included the following features:

  • Short eLearning modules with all the necessary information in a brief, engaging format.
  • Each season's course was designed according to the updated design system created according to the brand guide.
  • High-quality product videos were incorporated, each with subtitles to ensure accessibility and comprehension for all employees.
  • All the eLearning courses, including the videos, were translated into 29+ languages to accommodate ECCO's global workforce.
  • Animations were used to illustrate key concepts and maintain learner engagement.
  • We included realistic sales scenarios and dialogues aligned with ECCO's sales rituals to provide practical knowledge.
  • At the end of the course, a quiz featuring case studies was included to assess knowledge retention and understanding.

Result

Our collaboration with ECCO Leather Goods resulted in the successful creation of 10 eLearning courses, distributed across more than 30 countries.
