The Challenge

The client is an internationally operating supermarket chain, founded in 1946 in Germany. With over 4,000 stores in Germany and over 500 in the Netherlands, it's one of the largest supermarket chains in Europe.  

The supermarket was looking for a complete package of an LMS and LXP to publish online and classroom training for their employees in the Netherlands. They wish to stimulate continuous learning for their employees and offer them the opportunity to grow and develop within the company.

Our Solution

The client has used our Learning Management System to publish over 250 e-learning and classroom training sessions on the Learning Experience Platform.  

Based on the roles employees fulfill at the supermarket, they are automatically assigned training that is relevant to them. In addition, using a custom-tailored 'training store', employees are completely free to enroll in courses outside of their roles to broaden their knowledge and stimulate continuous learning.

Managers of each store have the opportunity to log in to the LMS and use detailed reports to monitor their employees' progress.

Over 11,000 employees are enrolled and participating in e-learning or classroom courses.
